Rotary Cutter Cuts more than Fabric Ouch!
#14
So sorry about your accident. I cut my pointy finger, including the fingernail last fall. Took a long time to heal!! Made me feel very insecure about using the rotary cutter for a long time, but I'm over it now :-)

I had exactly the same accident. I was stressed because a beloved grandson was in the ICU and was cutting pieces to take to the hospital with me. Ruler slipped and cut right along side my nail like yours did. Another grandson took me to the drugstore and bought some kind of bandages that you leave on until they fall off on their own. I did that and when it finally came off my finger was well! Tender but all healed. Am extremely careful now!

Hubby went to clean blood up in sewing room RIGHT AFTER IT HAPPENEDand there was the side of my finger laying there, and couldn't get it to stop bleeding, so grab it and to the ER. i GUESS IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE
