Just wanted to share. If you are a fan of the show Call the Midwife you will like this. Set in the 1960s to a background soundtrack of 60s rock , it follows the goings on of the doctors, nurses, and other characters of the Royal Hospital in Brighton, England. It has it light moments along with the serious. It is on Amazon Prime streaming. Like I said ,if you like Call the Midwife , you should give it a try.

I watched it. Be sure to have tissues handy as there are some really sad episodes.

Thank you for sharing, total Call the Midwife fan. The Royal is binge worthy I think we finished the series in just a couple of weeks.

A great show along with Father Brown and Miss Fisher’s mystery. Miss Fisher is supposed to be coming out with a film this year.

From what I could find the show ran from 2003 to 2011. Sorry to have missed It! Maybe I'll try for it on Amazon.

The Royal is great! It's a spin-off of another great show "Heartbeat". Not sure if available on Prime. But I think Heartbeat can be seen on Britbox.

I was watching the Royal for several seasons and then for no real reason stopped. I should go back and finish where I left off.

Thanks for the info. We binged on Boardwalk Empire and now the Sopranos. I'll be needing a break from the gangsters! lol
But both series are soooo goood!! I can't believe it's taken me this long to watch them. They certainly aren't new shows.
