those both look nice, thank you. I'm waiting for my Good Sam member number to arrive before I go mad making reservations.
After 48 years we've kind of met on common ground, as a long haul trucker Rob's mind goes from start to arrival in a straight line, and my mind zigs like a rabbit

When he retires in a couple of years I am going to need a life coach because I am so used to doing my thing while he is away
Land Between the Lakes is nearby as well but our RV (40' fifth wheel) doesn't fit well in most of the sites there...

We stayed in the Land Between the Lakes about 5 years ago...Paducah was just a short drive...the park was beautiful...don't know how it is now though....We have been RVing for 7 winters now...Hard to get away from the "point A to point B" though...LOL

After we'd been married about 5 years, with some rather unpleasant drives from A to B, we got our first dog.
We still didn't stop at interesting tourist points, but "do you think Goldie needs a run?" would fairly instantly get a stop and some fresh air
Now, as long as he knows ahead of time, he will stop anywhere he or I think might be interesting. The lap top has been a great help, knowing ahead of time.
I remember driving by Disneyland, Wax Museum, Knotts Berry Farm
