Sale at Keepsake Quilting
DH and I just spent three glorious days in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Our route home took us through Center Harbor, so of course I had to stop at Keepsake Quilting. While DH sat on the porch and chatted with the other hubbies, I spent an hour in the sale room. What I didn't notice at first was the flyer announcing a sale on clearance fabric. When I did notice it, I stacked up several bolts and added to my already considerable stash at 20% off. As the clerk was cutting my purchases, I mentioned to her that I recently told my husband I wasn't going to buy any more fabric, and we had a good laugh.

That is one of the places on my "dream to go to some day" list.
However I may need a husband first, my current one has no desire to go to that area of the country (not even for the bribe of real seafood!)

Sale or not, I loved the times I was able to go to Keepsake Quilting and fondle the fabric. We aren't able to go now, so I use the catalog; but I have very fond memories of my times at Keepsake. Once, while on vacation, I only had 10 minutes before we caught the boat to tour Lake Winnepasaukee, but I made the mad dash and finished just in time.

On Keepsake online today it is free shipping if you buy over$100. I will never get to see the shop in person so I just have to enjoy their catalog.. I ordered the dragonfly wallhanging and already have the spot picked out to hang it when I'm done.

I just looked up Keepsake and it is over 16 hours away from me. I doubt that I will get there any time soon, although I would love to visit.
Dh did drive me 6 hours last month so that I could shop at Hancock's of Paducah. I enjoyed it so much.
