Yep, All the schools in Darke County Ohio are closed.
We have about 1/2" of ice on everything. More to come and some snow too.

Glad I am home from work today!!

My husband just went outside to take the trash out. He had a hard time staying upright. Solid ice everywhere.

Most, if not all, of the schools in the Kansas City area are closed. We are supposed to have blizzard conditions today. Had freezing drizzle yesterday and the roads have been slick.
We are supposed to have between 6-12 inches of snow today.

In Oklahoma also, hubby home today, I always enjoy when he can be home. Not near the snow as last year, snow drifts were waist high. Maybe knee high so far.

Most schools in central IN are closed today. The scrolling list on the tv is very long. It might be easier to just annouce what is open! More importantly, my school is closed! I have a niece at Ball State Univ. who has had a couple of her classes cancelled and my DD#2 who is at Purdue is in class. I told her NOT to be out running around in her car this week and to utilize the campus bus system to get from her sorority house (which is out a ways) to her classes.

Here too and I would rather have the kids stay home than to have to try to figure out how to get them home in the storm that is comming.

I'm in NE Ohio and all the schools in our county and neighboring counties are closed today. I'm kind of bummed because the two hours my daughter is at preschool is my sewing time! :(
