Default Searching for pattern to turn jeans pockets into zippered pouch.

Need a free pattern or paid for download so I can make them quickly. I had one bookmarked and then lost it. Also looking for some courage to make something with a zipper LOL. Never did zippers before and I always am intimidated by new stuff.

Here's a cute one that looks really easy, with good pics.

As for installing zippers, here's a tutorial I like because it has very good close-ups:

    Hope this is useful!

THANKS,!!! This is perfect. It is exactly what I wanted. I am going to get over my fear of zippers and jump in to make them. I want to put gift cards in them for teachers for my kids.

Here is another tutorial for making zippered pouches. This one shows you how to line the pouch which is really easy to do and gives a very professional look.

I made jeans quilts for my 5 grandkids and had a bunch of pockets that were too big for squares of the quilts. So I sewed the pockets together in 4 rows of 5 and created a wall hanging for my sewing room. I have all my little stuff that I can't seem to ever find all corralled in this wall hanging. Works great.

Love the links given and the idea for a pocket catch-all. Thank you to everyone who contributed including hopetoquilt for asking the question!
