    Sewing day with granddaughter

My granddaughter came up today -- she wanted to make some purses to enter in the fair. She got two made, they take about an hour each. The pattern is Runaround Bag by Lazy Girl. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand.

Quick and looks like fun...will have to think about this for my GD's. Isn't such a thrill to watch her face when she's all done and so pleased with the job she's done? Kudo's to Gram....

Awesome job! What fun fabric choices. You have a very talented GD. Thank you for sharing your beautiful works of art. I am going to look up this pattern. I like the long strap to wear the bag as a cross-over.

I hope to see more sewing projects from you 2 talented sewers. Have a grand time at the fair. You are already a winner in my opinion.

Both your grand daughter and her purses are beautiful. Here's hoping she wins a ribbon or two.
