Pouring down...
It has been POURING down rain here. I had to get offline for a while because both my hundred-pound dogs kept trying to crawl in my lap with every clap of thunder. Makes it kinda hard to balance a laptop at the same time...

I live north of you and we had 3+ inches of rain over the weekend too. My puppy and I kept wet toes all weekend as I took her out on her leash "as needed". With a puppy, it is "needed" a lot. She does not mind the thunder, thank goodness. It is finally Monday morning, so we have fog this morning. Maybe the yard will dry up a little. I really do not like wet toes that stayed cold all weekend, even though I changed socks & shoes regularly. Her toes were carefully dried after each outing too, which meant lots of extra laundered towels for her. We needed the rain, so I do not want to complain. It would just be nice to have it spread throughout the year a little better. If I was in charge of everything, that is what I would do.

Rain - Rain - I miss you so...
Dear me...Rain...what's that? (whine, whimper) -
I can't wait to get out of Colorado and back to the real world that has rain, humidity and green trees.
Thank heavens, it should be in the next six months when we retire back to the Tallahassee area, but FIVE long years here in the 'high desert' of Colorado has been trying to say the least.
We're actually flying down on Friday for a short stay at the house. I'll actually be able to see green grass, green trees, have humidity, maybe see rain - (sigh) (smile)
As Gawd is my witness (my attempt at a Scarlett accent), I'll NEVER put brown in a quilt again after the trauma of living in a brown landscape for the past few years....

It's been raining here also, since last nite. Not a downpour but just enough to get you soaked in a few minutes. We still have 3-4 feet of snow so it will help melt that. I guess spring has sprung LOL.
