Default A Christmas Surprise!

I got the best Christmas Surprise today!! (No, not a sewing machine or fabric or anything quilty!!). I got a Gift Certificate for a Professional Organizer to come to my home to de-clutter and organize it! Although I'm not sure I'm going to enjoy getting READY for her! My DIL said that she will come "analyze" my home, tell me what I need to do to get ready for HER to come and then she will come back and ORGANIZE!! Yipee!!

I'm sooo excited...I used to be sooo organized myself but with health issues I just can't keep up anymore. My DIL said to be prepared to box stuff up and get it out the door...as long as SHE does the boxing, I don't care!!

Of course, the BEST gifts of all were framed photos of my beautiful grandchildren and being able to see ALL of them.

Merry Christmas to All!!

What a great gift, both the orgainization but especially the time she is spending. I had to do the same thing but just now I have to just spruce it up once in awhile.
Have the Merriest CHRISTmas.

Sounds like a great gift and I could use that also. I keep up pretty good but, just need to get rid of stuff I know my kids will not want. I box stuff up and store it but, I do need to just donate them.

My kids and I were talking about this kind of thing just last night. My basement and a "spare" room down there are outrageously out of hand with all the things that they have saved from their growing up years. I was saying how much I would love it if they would just come over and either take or get rid of their memory boxes. Each of them had stories to tell of each other and the foolish stuff that needs to be tossed. Surprise - I didn't have any takers on that idea!
