Default Shopping for an area rug

OK, I told my friend I would help her with her search for an area rug. Can't be that hard. She wants an 8'x10' size rug. But when I selected the appropriate size, whenever I see a rug she might like, it doesn't come in that size. Am I doing something wrong or are retailer wanting to throw anything at you besides what you have specifically asked for.

that is almost the size of a room. May be easier to check for stores that have remnants that could be bound around the edges.

Are you searching online or in real stores?? I found that Lowes, Home Depot and to extent Menards all have good selections. Home Depot had the largest selection by far. *Most* of the rugs came in multiple sizes to match, and if they didn't have the size you wanted you can order them as well.

You can search by size at Bed, Bath and Beyond. There are 1827 rugs size 8' x 10'.

I just got a beautiful 8x10 rug on Amazon. It's a bit of a shag rug, and the coloring is different shades of beige/taupe and just a touch of light gold. It was a little over $100.

I'm going to have to check out Amazon. That's way more in the range of a price I'm willing to pay!

I recently bought a large size rug at a furniture store. Most big furniture stores have them in all sizes. Mine was 12 x 15.
