Default Should I have quilted these?

Hi...I made these two IP covers but after I finished I was wondering if I should have quilted them. The instructions did not say to do so..... I used Bosal foam interfacing. I was planning on giving one to my cousin and one to a friend at work but now I am not so sure. Really can't take them apart because they had a couple of exposed seams that I zigzagged heavily to close.

I was excited to have made these but now I am thinking if they were to ever be washed...not sure how Bosal would wash.

Thank you very much.

They look great and you should proudly gift them! If you followed the instructions, then quilting them was optional.

Those are fantastic. I just love little projects like that. I would say don't worry about having not quilted them. Since instructions did not say to quilt then I think it will be o.k. Your gifts will really be appreciated.

First of all they are beautiful. Be proud of your creations. They should be fine even being washed. I believe that quilting these or future beauties the quilting would be optional. I would however cut the pieces a bit bigger than called for and cut to size after you have quilted the pieces. This would make up for any changes of the fabric from the quilting process. Again very nicely done.
