I knew I was in the age of technology when I was driving in Ohio on my way home to Illinois. I was on my cell phone with my husband who was in England at the time, and he was giving me a local weather report (snow storm) and directions. Had someone told me I would be doing that 30 years ago I would have said "beam him up Scottie - he's fully baked".

One part of technology I am glad to see has died a silent death ... those annoying push-to-talk Nextel phones. What were those people thinking???
