I wish my best friend of 35 years, who is dying of leukemia, would miraculously recover. Fail that, I wish that she would have the grace of an easy, painless passing.

Jan, i'm sorry to hear about your longtime friend. I hope your for an easy passing if she cannot recover comes true for her, you and all her loved ones. I also wish for you the strength to withstand the pain when the time comes. God bless you both.

I too wish you strength to accept whateve happens. I lost a friend of 49 years I really miss her You do make new friends but it is not the same as your old friends of many many years.
