The judge we had has a reputation of being a caring and fair judge. DD and her new DH never asked for custody, the judge awarded them temp custody when a medical condition of one of the children was not being treated properly by the mom and the living conditions were questionable. They had the temp custody for a year. Now the question if the kids can go back to their mom is being decided. It's not been a battle fight to keep the kids but a decision to where the kids will live.

Good luck to all concerned. I pray for the best for the children... bless their hearts... although they are not at fault, they always catch the flack. My prayers are with you!

Such a heartbreaking thing for the children to have to go through. My prayers go out to your family and all you can do is keep making sure the children get lots of love and understanding. Let them talk about it when they want to.

Awww, this is so sad. I hope it works out. I think many judges want the best- it can't be easy for them either .
