Forgot to say that unfortunately my parents are no longer with us. We lost our Father in 1990. Our Mother, age 95+, went home to be with our Lord and Saviour in February this year.

My dear dad died in 2006. He was 75. He died of cancer. I still miss him.
My brother, Michael died in 85. He was 26. I still miss him too.
Michael's twin sister (my sis too) lives in T exas about 20 min from me. Very close contact. She just married last year. She has 1 daughter who is very close also. She lives in Irving. They are both about 20 min away.
I have a sis in Houston. After 20 years of no contact saw her last year. Just surface contact through the mail a couple of times.
I have 1 beautiful , dear , sweet, smart daughter. Lots of contact. No granchildren yet.
I also have another brother. No contact for over 6 years.
My mother had no contact for over 25 years. She finally contacted me a couple of years ago. Asked if she moved back here from Florida could we share an apt. Did. BAD idea. Unfortunately she lives in the apt building next to me. She cut off contact with me. My younger bro and I are the black sheep of the family.

I am 63, as is my dh. I have 2 sons and a daughter; 4 gs, and 2 gd. I have a great sil and 2 wonderful dils.
My daughter lives in Ohio, My older son in PA, and my middle son in WA.
Both my parents and in laws are deceased. I have 2 sisters living, both in CA, where I was born and raised. I have 1 sister and 2 brothers deceased. My sisters and I keep in touch and try to see each other when we can.
My dh as 3 brothers and 4 sisters, all in this area except 1 brother who passed away last summer, and one sister who lives in NH. We are close with his family and it was his sisters who got me into quilting.

I guess I am lucky. I have both my parents and 3 younger siblings, 2 brothers who live in Texas and my sister. I am first born. I have 6 kids, three girls and three boys. Five are grown and own their own. Three are married. 12 grandkids, 7 boys and 5 girls. It's a house full when they are all home.
