Default small town interview Re: Dolls for sick kids

going tomorrow to have pics taken with these 2 dolls that will be going out to a child with a devastating illness. They are dolls number 152 and 153. I don't know yet who they will be for. Thinking today I may find out about the girl doll. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

These two are beautiful!! I have loved all the dolls you've shown on here! A great thing that you do for these sick children! Is the interview for a newspaper article or maybe radio or TV?

it is for a small town newspaper for a population of 8,800 including a prison population. An adjoining county whose children have received dolls through the American cancer Society is supposed to interview me for a small TV station and newspaper they have, but I don't know when. They said 'after the new year' so guess I will hear soon.

Thanks for the precious comments. The article for last Tuesday was delayed to this Tuesday as they wanted the pic of me and the dolls (as shown above)

Glad you liked the dolls. They took a copy of the birth certificates and a copy of the 'letter from the doll to the child', but don't know if it will be used or not.

will be interesting to see how the reporter chooses to write it all up. Sometimes the interviews and pictures run a half page, sometimes more or less. Maybe it will bring help in cutting out and sewing doll bodies for me, or getting the size 12 used blue jeans, etc for the boys. Everything helps. Mostly I wanted local folks, and others with VERY sick children to know I wanted to comfort their little one with a doll. Some ladies are making me 28 by 28 quilts so the children can cover their doll up when they take it with them for treatments, etc.

Thanks so much for taking time to comment.
