We already have had 2-4inches here in Wy last week. Drove into the mtns yesterday, and the lakes have ice on them already! This is really an early winter here!

Peaceful....yeah, right. BTW they LOVE daylilies, coralbells, crabapple trees, and any other plant I try to grow!!!!! And Harley looks like he really enjoyed the snow!

Considering the way the squirrels were acting, it might be a very cold winter here on the west coast!!!!

I will have to show my DS the pics. He was long-hauling thru OR/UT/ID/WY with a load of onions the last two days and had snow just about everywhere. Had to use his defroster and put on his heavy coat when he got out. He took pics, but they didn't come thru. Thanks for posting them.

Sure is pretty. Looks like a fairly heavy/wet snow. I think we are due a long, cold, snowy, winter here, too.

It WAS a wetter snow than usual. The trees in Bend hadn't lost their leaves yet...and the snow broke a lot of them. More people off the roads, into ditches or each other than usual, too.

I am pretty sure that puppy Harley is saying "What the He**?" Get me out of this snow :) :) :) :) "I can't feel my paws"....."The tip of my tail has frostbite". ......"As you can see by the yellow snow, I've done my business- now let me in the house"..... :)

No signs of snow here for a while... We are starting to get our pretty colours of Fall season. For October we are still enjoying semi warmish weather. It is around 14 degrees celcius here today. No snow for a bit yet... (keeping fingers crossed). I'm hoping for a very easy and light winter this year...

I love the snow, it makes everything look so 'clean'.
I don't even mind shoveling the snow, but hate lawn mowing and yard work.
I say I am like meat, I keep better in the cold.

I left Minnesota and Wisconsin so I wouldn't have to shovel winter! Now that I am retired, I don't need to go out if there is snow, and I like it that way!
