We have been having rain the past couple days so most of our snow is gone. Love the snow and if I don't want to go out it gives me a great excuse to hide in my "bat cave" and stitch all day. LOVE IT.

I'm so sorry you're having so much snow. My family is from northern Minnesota. My dad went into the service and was stationed all over the country. They found out one important thing....there were other, more weather friendly places to live withOUT mosquitos the size of hummingbirds so when he was discharged, they settled in the Pacific NW. Careful when you shovel that snow and stay home if you don't have to go out.

Just got back from Minnesota. We had Christmas with my daughter and son-in-law and our first granddaughter.
We never left the house. Too cold and too much snow.

Having a heat wave. Temps 50 or so, had rain this morning and sun this afternoon. Melted almost all our snow. Happy New Year!

Thanks, but we have our own in Portland, Oregon--at least at the higher elevations, where I live.

Rain here, Third wettest Dec. in the last 100 yrs, and some of the Mountain range at 200% plus, should help fill the ground water that was getting somewhat low (Yah)
Down side it has to go somewhere, and has made a mess of some areas, mud slides, flooding, tearing up the roads.
Saw this morning down under having a big o mess with some flooding.
You all in the northern states burrr.....

More heading East colder storms coming thru !!

Ah, I will pass on that. Wouldn't mind if it never snowed again as long as it snowed on Christmas Eve and day.

No snow in my part of the valley, but we can see the snow on Four Peaks from our backyard. It looks very pretty from a distance ;-)
