Default snow storm

Just want to send prayers and thoughts to all our friends and families in the southwest. Hopefully the storm won't be as bad as they are predicting.

I hope you all have enough supplies to last a while.

Stay safe and stay warm. We are use to this weather, not sure if you are or not.

So sweet of you to think of us. We live at an elevation of around 7200 feet. It has been snowing steady since I got up and is supposed to keep up until tomorrow. Where I am we have about 2 ft already. Went to the store yesterday and stocked up on milk and bread, dog and cat food. The snow plow has been by twice today, but getting down the 75 feet of our driveway is not looking good until it is plowed too. I grew up in Northern Idaho, so this is a lot like that. Next week we will be at our home in Florida, I am sure looking forward to that. Sandra

Have heard that lots of folks are stranded in New Mexico......how sad with Christmas just around the corner. Have been some deaths also.

For eight years we lived in northern Illinois, so I know what those snow storms can be like. One year we had 11 days straight below 0 degrees, and one year my husband and I went up to Wisconsin for a quilt show when the temperature was -24 degrees. Who can tell how much we like quilt shows.

P.S. But now I am glad to be living in South Carolina for the last 11-1/2 years.

Sandra, I know you will be so happy to get to Florida. Hope you enjoy your stay. I am in Louisiana and we are expecting lots of rain for the rest of the week. I don't like it when it rains for Christmas and Christmas Eve. It doesn't seem like Christmas. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
