[i][u]- Crochet 101 Snowflakes, [i]- by Delsie Rhoades and Kathy Wesley

This is a book i have had for some time and this year due to many reasons I decided to make for my tree I used a D hook and 3 and 5 sized thread. The book recomends a finer thread and a stainless steel hook, however, I was pleased with the results as I am really new to using the finer threads and smaller hook sizes.

These are very nice. I tend to use the larger thread as well. I have never mastered the smaller sized threads. The older I get, the less inclined I am to try the finer threads!!!

Very, very pretty ... I think they are lovely with the larger thread and hook.
