Believe it or not but my DS and DD actually love school. It's too boring at home!! I figure at their ages it's not my job to entertain them.

I agree! Will get to that sewing as soon as I change the bed, wash and fold clothes, cook and bake for the holidays- oh my. Well I really don't need to sleep!!! lol

I think that's great !!! My kids used to love snow days b/c we lived in NY and they loved snowboarding etc. I don't recall them loving school but they all got college degrees and further so maybe they did after all lol :D

Absolutely!! It started snowing here yesterday morning and now the wind is blowing drifts around the yard. You are totally right...a good day to spend inside sewing!

Guess we all are sewing like crazy because of the bad weather. Kind of a good thing. Next week my grandaughter and I will start our gingerbread castle. We both took wilton cake decorating classes and have made the little precooked houses, train, trees, etc. but this year we break out and really do it. Can't wait.

We had snow coming down to beat the band here last night after church.
It was so pretty.
We got a good dusting.
Today the wind is howling and it's cold.
Maybe more snow later in the week.
