Oh, how sad. That would have killed me. Fur babies are a part of the family, and that is like loosing a child. My prayers are that they find peace.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and kind thoughts for my aunt and uncles loss. Ginger was their only family since they didn't have children. I think they need to get a new puppy now. They have such a large hole in their hearts and need to fill it with the love of a puppy.

My heart aches for your grandparents!!! Such a horrible way to lose a beloved pet. My sister was telling me that my BIL had seen several coyotes around their home. They have several kitties and two small dogs.

I am so sorry for your aunt and uncle. I know when I was in TN one year, my little Ginny Wren went missing. We were so lucky. She was found. But she had went through fields to get to this one ladies house. I was devastated as I know they are. We got up the next morning and saw a coyote smelling around near the woods at the end of one of the fields. We were lucky. It was heart wrenching. We all cried when she was found.
I really feel for their heartache! They are just like children.
That's my little Ginny Wren in the pic with the pink bandana.

We had a silky about 1 yr old. Took her out (night time to go potty) and she went barking toward the empty lot next door. She came right back yapping. She had been bitting in the behind by a coyote. 400.00 vet bill. I seen the coyote.
