LOL. Something like this actually happened to my sister. She was driving from her home in Chicago to mine in Pensacola for a visit. She was behind a truck with porta potty on it and it fell off into the road in front of her. Luckily she missed hitting it, but oh what a mess.

Well, yesterday was pretty bad. New cabinets were installed on Monday over new laminated flooring, so we were really exccited to be able to hook up the water in kitchen sink again,, and to use the dishweasher. Yesterday I noticed a little puddle in front of the sink, not big at all. Wiped it us, and about 10 minutes later noticed another . Got down on the floor to wipe up all around thinkning I was just missing a spot. Oh no!! I guess when the cabinets were installed, they must have broken a water pipe or connection, and water has been running under the flooring , through to the basement family room that was just remodeled last year because of a non-funtioning sump pump and a bad storm. Everything then was ruined , from flooring up..... The latest problem has ruined a big section of ceiling drywall, soaked a new oversized chair, ruined a table lamp, and, the new kitchen flooring is swelling and starting to buckle. So, yeah, yesterday was pretty bad. I keep telling myself it could be so much worse, and we are blessed to still have our home standing, but I've been wanting and waiting for this to be done for over 20 years.Helping out our sons with money problems due to divorce , another son with college tuition for his daughter , and a grandson buy his first home was more important than doing for ourselves. Our sons all pitched in to do all the labor for us, sort of a way to help us now. They are really great sons( and daughter), and wonderful grandkids, so tofay I just keep counting my blessings!!
