I think the contents of your bedside table tell alot about who you are - so want to reveal the contents in yours?!

    I'll start....

    Top drawer:
hand lotion (with gloves, gets dry up here in MN in the winter)
    lip stuff
fabric and quilting catalog and magazine
    Bible
non-fiction book about King Henry VIII's children
playing cards, old picture of my daughter, pens, pencils, fingernail files, filament tape, massage lotion and foot cream

    Middle Drawer:
    Sense and Sensibility
    To Live is Christ
    2 devotional books
    notebook
    strawberry shortcake doll
    lego piece
box of condoms (don't laugh - gag gift from a bday party we attended, had to stash them there so the kids wouldn't see the box and ask what they were!)

    Bottom Drawer:
    silk longjohns, regular longjohns
    waterproof socks
secret stash of girl scout cookies - so secret that I forgot they were there until I opened the drawer to see what was in it!!

So, that's my life - I love to read in bed, drool over my quilt magazines, spend quiet time with God, my kids are obviously in bed with us sometimes, i don't like dry hands, feet or lips, I live in a cold climate, i have a husband who will eat ALL the girl scout cookies in one sitting if I don't hide them, and I have NO IDEA why there is filament tape in my bedside table!

    What about you??

Top drawer has nighttime pillbox, tums, other meds not taken daily. (no condoms), book lites, plumice stone for feet, glasses, remote, flashlight, and junk
2nd draw - lots of diofferent lotions etc
3rd drawer - panties I am saving for something, but don't know what
side cabinet - believe it or not - Green Stamp Books that were my Moms - think there is a store somewhere in the mid-west and plan on going some day LOL

    Hmm....let's see...
On the top is my lamp, a bunch of reciept, my Rosary and a pair of earrings and the battery alarm clock.
In the top drawer is a bunch of pictures that need to be put in the album that is in there with them.
Bottom drawer has my night shirts and my "raggedy" nightgown. Hubby calls it raggedy, but it's comfy.

I just have a table. Lamp, alarm clock (I have forgotten how to set it now that I'm retired), jar of hard candies, 1-1/2 foot high stack of magazines, and a cat toy.

Just checked my nite table out of curiosity. I also have a candle and 2 cookbooks. I need to clean this puppy off!!! Re the cookbooks, I read them like novels. Cover to cover. I am a lousy cook, but I have a collection of books that would knock your sox off! My DH and I were watching Jeopardy one time and I got EVERY question right in the cooking category. My DH said, "If you're so good at this, why don't I see your a** in the kitchen more often?" Told him I beentheredonethat in the first marriage.

I have an antique dressing table next to my side of the bed. Top- lamp, alarm clock, phone, hair dryer, curling iron, assorted jewelry, nail polish and perfume, hair pick, hair brush, hair ties. top left drawer- make up for really needing to make an impression- cover up, eye shadow, foundation, blush (everyday is just moisturizer and mascara), lip stick, bottom left- boxes of jewelry I have for "last minute" gifts- been known to raid stash for something new for me. Top right- creams, lotions, etc. foot care, etc., bottom right- more hair ties, curlers, etc.

Don't read at bedtime, I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. If I read, I stay in my sewing room, need to be upright or the bed calls my name.

Steph---Interesting thread. I guess you CAN learn a lot about a person from their bedside table. (makes you wonder why there are some people who want to look in others' medicine cabinets  )

On top of my bedside table I have a lamp, a clock, a phone and a box of tissues.

In the top drawer I have my rosary, lip balm, several hand and foot creams, cuticle oil, socks, 3 books, 2 book lights, a flashlight, lots of bookmarks, pencils and a coaster.

In the second drawer I have my Sudoku stash-I work several puzzles every day. I even like the ones that are variations of the original 9 patch puzzle.

In the third drawer I have 2 books (Firefly Lane and A Grandma is a Gift from God), a Prevention magazine, my cell phone charger, my Ipod and ear phones.

In the fourth drawer I have a bag with old eye glasses (I keep meaning to take them somewhere and donate them)

I work a Sudoku and then read a little every night before I fall asleep. I guess my bedside table says I am a pretty dull person.

Marcia I do sudoku too - have you ever gone to websudoku.com. One more reason to get on the computer, like we need one.

Hmm had to go look. On top is a lamp, not plugged in Lavender pillow mist, a large pitcher and bowl full of reciepts. Botton shelf a wooden box full of baseball cards, a roll of ribbon (?) a few craft odds and ends papers (junk) and a lot of dust!
