Nutmeg - very pretty! I think that your Asiatic Lilly might actually be an Oriental Lilly (judging by the flower color and the shape of the leaves). Is it scented? If so, it's an Oriental.

KimKanQuilt - as QuiltE said, there is a tropical Hibiscus and a perennial Hibiscus. Many of the perennial Hibiscus are hardy all the way up to USDA zone 4. Perhaps you have a colder variety that is not getting the necessary cold/dormant period it requires, or you have a tropical variety that is not enjoying the winters (even in SoCal).

Giant hibiscus always make me think of crepe paper flowers we used to make in school or clubs. Pretty!

All I do is cut them down. We had plenty of snow cover this year which will help protect. All my flowrs are just so beautiful this year. It has been a good year.

I am in Indiana and my hibiscus is just starting to bloom. They just take care of themselves other than pruning after they bloom. I have a red and a pink one and mine survived the harsh winter we had last year.
Your flowers are just gorgeous. I loved the pink lacy lilies I love flowers.
