Eat Healthy
Exercise religiously
Stop procrastinating on housework (which means no Quilt board or quilt sewing)
Get sewing room better organized
Get an embroidery machine

When you are doing your swap projects...get out 2 or 3 boxes and fill them all up at the same time.
Put the label on the backing BEFORE YOU even start to sew your doll quilts.
Hire a Maid.
Buy A quilt shop.
Don't go to the store..send someone else.
And teach your cat how to rip out seams as they seem to like to "claw" things and has sharp talons.
There all solved. :)

Just ain't possible. Not human. Do not even try to tell me it is possible.
I knew a woman once who had a perfect house, not a speck of dust anywhere. All her friends admired her for her housekeeping abilities, and she refused to have kids because they were so messy. Her husband had to take off his shoes before entering the house, etc.
His next wife was a lousy housekeeper but with the family dog, she and the kids all ran to meet him at the door when he came home. He is still married to her after many years, seems happy with pizza and cokes for dinner.
End of story, not a fairy tale.

When I was growing up my mom's mom had rules. You don't touch the white walls ever!! You don't go in the front room(living room today) as it was for company only. You didn't wear shoes in the house as it would track in dirt. You only played in the basement or outside. There was never ever any clutter. She raised 16 kids. At my house my mom expected my bed not only made but made with hospital corners and it had to be taut.(bounce a dime on it etc) Everything had it's place and you never ever ate in the living room. Absolutely no popcorn on the couch etc. The butter would stain. My mom dusts her stairs every day and cleans behind her washer and dryer and cleans the floor in front of the dryer and washer every time she uses it. No water spots are allowed on her countertop or on the sink or the faucets ever! Wipe the floor for any water spots too.
My dad said I rebelled and that is why I am such a slob!! LOL He could be right!! But when I sew I am a perfectionist. Go figure!

Someday, I will clean my sons room....but right now, we need a skid loader and a dumpster to do it. He's 16 and a terrible messy person right now. I do have to comfort of knowing that his older brothers and sisters outgrew this stage and do keep their homes in a reasonable fashion. I don't mind a little clutter but I like things neat for the most part.
