My DH made coffee one morning with the carafe still in the dish drainer. I came out to coffee everywhere! Don't know why the automatic brewing didn't stop when the pot was missing.

Sounds like somthing I would do. Last week I put the coffee in , poured the water in the reserve and turned it on. Then I went on the do other things while waiting, heard coffer running over and couldn't figure out why the noise wasn't right. I didn't put the glass pot under the drain. COFFEE every where. I had a mess to clean up and then start over. With the cost of coffee now, what a waste.

Sounds like stuff a good friend and I do.

We only tell each other what we do because others would think we've lost it.

I made coffee, got milk out...so all set, went to get dressed.
Came back in kitchen & no coffee to be found....no coffee pot! Now I knew I'd made coffee, cause the milk was on the counter, ready to use. UH OH....yep it was & the coffee Pot was in the fridge.
I don't tell this to too many ppl,
so keep it under your hat.
