Default Spring has Sprung

First sign: Buttercups blooming!
In the garden, we have baby squash already! I think the cold fronts, which is our winter weather, are over! Just waiting for the Gulf of Mexico to warm up a bit!

On a Northern note...they are forecasting snow for this coming Thurs - Sunday! We did get word today however, that the lake our cabin is on is now "ice out", so that's exciting.

We woke up to temps in the teens this morning after having temps in 50's and 60's last week. This coming weekend it forcast snow up to 2-3 inches so we're not out of the woods with winter here in Iowa.

Lucky you! Our feeder in Maryland is half-full and waiting! Hubby starts slow and by the end of the summer we're sometimes filling two feeders daily.

The Canada Geese are honking and fighting! It is courting seasoning! I have seen them landing in the marsh behind my home in pairs so I suspect nesting has begun for at least some of them.

Oh post some pics of buttercups. I can't remember what they look like. But then, any flower is gorgeous!
