Exactly!! That was my immediate thought. I mean, really, how often do lampshades get jostled? Just put some clear tape on it. And turn it. Out of sight, out of mind.

There is a way of using copper foil on the top and bottom of the break and creating a faux lead line but I'm thinking that considering the piece, it would also be too pricey a fix. You could ask your local hardware store or go online for glass glue. It is made specifically for cracks in glass, though usually somewhat less extensive than this and hardens in the sun (ultraviolet). Personally I follow the advice of an earlier poster and turn that side toward the wall.
I only paid $9 for it, so I'm thinking some glue and turning toward the wall is the best cure.

Probably not. The Y shaped crack is ever so slightly jostled a bit. So it's not smooth. I'm liking the turn toward a wall better all the time. In fact, it's destined for a corner so it's really not going to be seen.
