Bless his heart! That old man DID NOT know what he had. His wife would have killed him if she knew how little he got paid for that.

No, I couldn't ask...I was trying not to cry. I felt so bad for him, too, over the loss of his wife. He really just wanted someone else to enjoy it. I don't know if that is who got it or simply a profit seeker. I'm going to imagine it was a deserving quilt maker! :)
