My gr nephew recently got candle wax all over my living room carpeting. I tried getting it up by ususal methods Hot iron and paper towels. ice ect. Today before steam cleaning my kitchen floor I decided to use my steemer on the carpeting to see what would happen, much to my surprice with very little effort I covered the regular mop head with a piece of thin terrycloth and went to work. ALL I mean All of the wax residue came up with very little effort. As well as a few spots that were on the carpeting. I am so happy as I am handicapped physically and cannot do ant stranious work

I got the Shark this summer too and I just love it. Works great on laminated floors.
