My mom, aunt and grandmother has this one and they love theirs. They all have hardwood and vinyl floors and it works great for them.

I really like my Shark steam mop. We have German Shepherds and we don't like to use chemicals to clean and these are perfect.

I just bought the Shark vacuum and steam. Price $149.00 at Walmart. The vacuum worked well. I loved the steam. It made my ceramic tile floors shine. Remember the add about walking on the floor in white socks? It is true you can do it. No more regular mops and scrub brushes. Saves my knees Although the dogs sure didn't know what to make of the hissing sound.

I have one which is a Kenwood brand (which I think is an Italian company?). It is very good on tiles. However, I would recommend that you make sure you buy one that will easily go under furniture and steam the carpet as well.

Thanks for your input about steam mop...I have a huge tiled kitchen and looking forward to cleaning it much easier than the way I do it...I think the shark is less expensive than the oreck....thanks again...

I have two shark lift away steam mops. One for each level of my house and I just love them.No more buckets of water to carry. The lift away mop has a unit that comes out of the main unit for cleaning tile walls, sinks etc. I got them on QVC when they had a sale about one yr ago.
