Just a quick update. First thank you all for your prayers and words of support. I told my mother that we had prayers from around the world and she cried at your thoughtfulness.

Daddy is getting closer to heaven. Our prayers are for God top take him on. Hospice has been wonderful.

One funny story, my middle brother stayed the night with mama last night. She was so tired so HE sent HER to bed early. She remembered something got up and he told her (joking) that she was grounded to her room and no internet. He said it felt kind of good to turn the tables after all these years.

Update on daddy. Daddy remained coherent until my niece arrived from out of state. They had a good conversation Friday evening. By Saturday morning he was slipping away from us. He turned 83 on Monday. Wednesday (yesterday) was my 50th birthday. It was bittersweet. I told daddy that morning the only thing I wanted for my BD was for him to go on to God. That gift was granted at 3:30 p.m. He just stopped breathing.

Arrangements have been we will be putting him to rest on Saturday. Please keep my mother in your prayers. Thank you all for your support.
