i've been trying and trying. i feel like a broken record. i still can't figure this out and i think i'm, missing icons or something. i printed off the instructions and looked for the little tree and the red icon and it just isn't there.

has anyone else been having the same problem? i can't be the only one. speak up please. maybe someone can help
clear it up for all of us in baby language.

Scroll near the bottom of the page where the icons for replying are shown. In advanced reply, the tree is in the middle row 6th from the right. Hope this helps.

looking at your (wonderful and funny) illustration i see that it's in windows. aha!!

i have mac. the set-up is entirely different on mine. for example, i don't get those silly faces under the window, and i don't get those cute faces to the right of the window. nor do i get those choices above the window. what i get between my title and the body of text is ........ nothin' but air. if i want those icons that you show under the window, i have to change pages. same with font changes, etc. obviously, the set-up isn't mac friendly.

on mine it has the blue oval that says reply to thread. under that it has the name of the thread "Still Trying to Title Images". under that is an empty window with my avatar on the left. at the bottom of the window it has my tag and under the window it has the signs for reply, reply with quote and a little mystery sign.

wow! who'da thunk? mystery solved. thank you for the walk-through. without the graphics i never would have known why i was having trouble. now i can give up in peace, knowing it isn't me. LOL!

Aha!! I'm glad you figured out what the trouble is.

It's not easy to hold down the mouse button and write with the mouse!

that must be a highly intelligent mouse. but i bet it's little feet hurt from you holding it down.

I have found the easiest way, is to use the tool bar above this box, when you type in a story line. It is the 4th icon from the right and when you hold your mouse over it, it will say INSERT IMAGE so click on that, and a box appears that says FROM COMPUTER or FROM URL and I make sure that it is highlighted FROM COMPUTER. And be sure that your pictures are small enough to start with. Then you hit the BROWSE button, and find the picture that you want to put on and click on it. You will come back to this little box and there should be writing in the box beside the BROWSE button. Then, just below that box, you will see the words UPLOAD FILE(S) and you click on that and wait for it to load. The nice thing about doing it this way, rather than the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS, is that you can then label this picture, and when you have multiple pictures, that is really nice. Once a picture and label are up, just hit the EDIT button, add your title, hit the EDIT button for more pictures if you want. I don't think that you can label pictures that you upload through MANAGE ATTACHMENTS. Good luck trying this method. I am going to add 1 picture just to see if what I wrote is what you should do.

And this is the second picture that I loaded using the above method. I did all of this in the reply box. I am going to post this now, and see if I can add by hitting the EDIT button

And then I hit the EDIT POST button and loaded this picture and was able to label it. Hope that I wrote out this info in a clear manner and that you can make use of it.
