put up the money for Nigel to gamble in the back of Rick's cafe but the only problem was Claude Raines the police commander he liked to seduce pretty young things in order for them to get their papers to leave the country

Claude was a rascally old man, never met a pretty face or shapely body that he didn't like. He also never met an underhanded deal that he didn't try to cut himself in on. The gambling adventure would have to be discreet but could they keep it that way?

but the quilting franchise was in trouble because Imogene late one night went berserk with the rotary cutter and when people came in the next morning every piece of fabric had been cut into 2 inch squares and taped to the ceiling

After the horror of what Imogene had done and she had been hauled off the Belevue, The insurance people came in and began to appraise the situation. Everyone was very busy and didn't take notice of Sarah quietly studying the ceiling and making sketches after all what she saw that no one else did was..........

Sarah thought ... no ....could it be.. it was a pattern of some sort ...the pattern was turning out to be...secretly she thought ... thank God for all her hours spent at the sewing machine and quilt shops..the pattern was .....
