I'd also be afraid of fire. And I guess I'm just not artistic enough but I just can't see the beauty in it

Wow, didn't think it would be so hated here. I still find it interesting, though I would never pay that much for it. $20 maybe and that would be a stretch.

Oh and for fire, if you look closely, it appears there is some type of barrier between the paper and the bulb.

I am always looking for unique things so I DO like the lamp however it is very overpriced But it seems well thought out treated paper and foil linning. This reminds me of back in the early 80's one summer day I talked my two girls into wearing rings on their toes to go shopping. At the time they thought I was crazy I didnt start the fad but not because I didn't try. I have also made slave anklets haven't ever seen anyone else wearing them but similar item they are patterned after slave braclets only its a ring on toe with a fine chain that hooks to a ankle bracelet, If it is unusual I will have to try it

Looks beautiful to me ... my cup of tea ... but I would worry about fire hazard. I have to look into seeing how it is treated for fire resistance.
