I was blessed with one of those names. No one usually gets it right the first time when they pronounce it and some dont even try. I have 5 sisters and they also have unique names. But I really do love having such a name cause I have never met anyone else with my name. Just look at my name and see if any of you have ever heard it before.

Makes me think of my oldest sister's name... Alethea... Most people mis-pronounce it as "al-THEE-a" but it is actually "a-LEE-tha". She goes by Lee!

Ok -- the name game. I have 4 sisters and I'm the youngest.

#1 (A) is Alethea (a-LEE-tha)
#2 (B) is Beatrice

#5 (E) is Edna

Ok so #3 and #4 they got out of sinc because they were twins and named them Marlyne and Marion... I always say they should have been (C) Carlyne and (D) Darlyne! LOL Oh well!

I did ask mom once if she knew she'd started at the top of the alphabet...
