Mary - when I used to go PYO as a child, my Mum said the same to me about the weighing!

Patti, I'd just eat those as they are, if I could get to them before my kids! Mine are all in flower so won't be long now!

Toooo late for any more options....made homemade strawberry ice cream custard today!!! YUMMY!!!!! I kept out 1 quart to just eat, made a batch of ice cream and pureed the other quarts and froze them. Now I can either add the puree to smoothies, make a syrup with it or make more Ice cream. Its sooo yummy, wish you all could come over for ice cream!!

K, I really wish it would..I'd send you some. It does taste more like the full cream gelato that you can get in Italy than our regular ice cream. I have NO idea where I got the recipe  I did find that (since I have the eating habits of a 12 yr old), that I like the European ice cream MUCH better than ours
