Karla what a touching and moving story, beautifully told. You have a big heart my girl, and I wouldn't mind being one of your minis. Hugs to you, sweetheart. :D

Karla, you know you made the right decision.
Now you can concentrate more on the horses you do have.
Jazz and Whisper are fine. You will be fine too! :) :) :)

I was able to work everyone but Chloe this weekend. And a few I worked twice. That felt nice. They all had attention. Chloe was going to get ground driven, but Mark and I helped Justin's girl close on a trailer all afternoon--and took her out for dinner to celebrate--so it was too dark by the time we got back. But, that's okay.

Mark wanted me to buy something with some of the money, so I'm buying bits for both mares--neither of their mouths is the size of bit I have--of course. AND--I just ordered bells! Yes--Mazie will wear a belt of bells around her girth when she goes visiting!! How cheerful is that??? :D :D :D I ordered two short straps of just a few to hook on a horse when I'm ground driving... we'll jingle lightly as we romp the lanes and fields.
This is not spending much...I should think of more things to get--just to make Mark happy.

So glad that you are adjusting...The bells sound wonderful! The sound is so cheerful, and I'm certain that Maize will 'work' those bells. Maybe you should make some new horse blankets for the herd with your new found wealth, or of course more FABRIC for your stash!
