Yes, being 55 years old, I was also wondering what were "natural causes" at 54...

We will surely miss him but what a legacy he has left behind. God bless him and Mike Wallace!

Wait, that's my age! Nothing natural about it, I'd say. Now his paintings will be forever out of my price range! But he is happier now, no doubt.

Actually, I believe heart attacks are considered "natural causes". Heard that somewhere, I know. My grandson had a friend who was just in his 30s and he died of a heart attack and was labeled "natural causes". An autopsy was done because he was driving and ran off the road and hit a tree so they needed to determine what happened.

It is interesting that you think it could not be natural for a man in his fifties who had previously been a hard drinker to die. We dont go forever, particularly if we have burned the candle at both ends.
Condolences to his family and friends.

I loved his paintings. My two late Brothers, 37 and 42 died of massive heart attacks and that was listed as the cause of death. They were not "heavy drinkers". I have never heard Mr. Kinkaid was a drinker of any kind.

One of our greats have passed. I always enjoyed watching him on QVC. I have some of his work. He will be sadly missed.

I read in the paper an autopsy will be done tomorrow to determine the cause of his death. Never knew he had books. I will have to check this out.
