Tipping your LAQer

A two hour trip would cost $$ in gas, so then I would probably tip, unless I felt the charges already had that cost factored in.

I think tipping your LAQ is a personal decision. You said she is reasonable and delivers the quilts to you, so giving her something for gas expense would be fine. I tip my hairdresser as she is reasonable and times are hard.

It never crossed my mind to tip. Also, I assumed she was charging enough to make a fair profit. Also, as her skills improved (more experience) she began charging more.
