Today I meet a Prince

That is a wonderful memory, one that you can pass on to others.
I just read that the Commonwealth nations, including the UK, are changing the rules of succession so that a first born daughter can become Queen, instead of a first born son automatically becoming King. Now, that's progress!!!

how lovely for you, I remember going to Royal Ascot for ladies day with my gran (now passed on) my mum and my brother, it was 1981 and Lady Di and Prince Charles were engaged...we waved and cheered as they went past in the carriage and my gran said, gosh, hasn't she got a big nose and Di turned round and glared.... hehehe something we won't forget. I think it's great that the first born rules rather than the first son, one for equality :O)

One of my late father's favorite memories was of going to a polo match at Cowdray Park. We still had our Alvis Grey Lady (my all-time favorite car) at the time and he really got a kick out of the fact that the only other Alvis there belonged to Prince Philip!
