I spent the last five days in Binghamton, NY visiting my daughter. Wednesday night a rain storm quickly turned into the worst I've ever experienced in my life! Winds were in excess of 80 mph and the hailstones were huge! Funnel clouds and tornadoes were all around us.....did anyone else experience that storm? Luckily, my daughter and I were able to wait it out safely.

yep! it was all around here. Most of the damage in Ohio was up along the lake this time. One tornado confirmed in huron county while other areas had golfball sized hail.

That must have been the same storms that came thru here Wednesday evening. Sure scared us.
Glad you all are safe.

a little further south and we had the rain, wind and golf ball size hail. Glad you made it through OK. there are some areas without power still today.

Makes us appreciate the Midwest and their storms, doesn't it?

Yup. Our house got hit by lightning...again. Our house is a lightning magnet. Last time it took out everything electronic, and struck me (worst pain of my life!!), this time it just took out the router.
I got some awesome pics of the tornado that went through a couple weeks ago as the funnel was forming right above my head. My kids were not happy with me when I was snapping pics instead of running for the cellar.

My daughter's house had no power for about an hour - we were lucky. Some of her friends on the other side of town were without power for two days. Not sure which church, but I know a steeple came crashing down to the ground also!! Luckily, no one was hurt.
