Default tossing a suggestion out there

Hi , I have been receiving some packages from board members on this site. But sometimes it is confusing when you order multiple items from several people. The problem is when we recieve a package, the return address label has the members real name on it, which we are not familiar with. Only your user name here on the board. It would be helpful if inside the purchased box, if you could just put your user name on a piece of paper or index card etc. so we buyers would recognize who we are dealing with. Maybe im having a senior moment lol, but i do have to admit it can be confusing when recieving a few packages all on the same day. It would save on time sifting thru paypal, ebay and the board purchases. thx.

It's a good suggestion. I have the same problem when I am shipping to someone – I see the real name and think, "Who the heck is that person?" and then have to match it to the board name, duh!

Sounds like a reasonable request and a darned good idea! I think we forget that we have user names!

valid point. I try to remember both. I usually put the address TO: jane doe on the inside of the pkg also incase it gets damaged the post office has a backup.

I have a small pocket tablet, so whenever I order from the board, I write their board name in it & when I get a pm with their name & address, I add that to their board name. That way I can keep them straight. Plus I can have a record of who I have ordered from in case I order from them again. Then they don't have to keep sending me their address & I always let them know that I still have their addy on hand.
