Not here that I know of, but there are embroidery groups at Yahoo and I'm sure other sites as well.

There are hundreds of embroidery groups on Yahoo. Some of my favs are: Embroidery DK, Embroidery Library, Ann the Gran, If you will PM me, I will send you the links privately. Some are more instructional than others which just sell designs. I have bokoos of free designs!

I belong to Mary Reases's machine embroidery group. She is a Michigan digitizer and many of the more active people live in Michigan. We have a real life gathering twice a year.
