Looks like a great idea. Not something I'd do, but she is a "laugh-out-loud" descriptive writer
For the right quilter, I think that is an excellent way of preserving shirts of loved ones.

This is a great idea, especially for a large family that wants memory quilts. Perhaps make quilts for the children but pillows for the grandkids.
