I saw last years Swamp People and this years and I'm glad Troy and his crew are still part of it. He's the only one in the group along with Liz and folks from that area that have truly maintained the Acadian/Cajun way as far as maintaining there first language French and you certainly can hear it in how the pronounce certain words and every so often you will hear Troy or his son say something in French. All the rest of them seem to not be true Cajuns or if they are have gotten away from there first language or grown up only with English.
