They say our minds are so tuned to what we are reading that we do not see the middle of the words - just beginning and end and fill in the rest. That why so many transposed letters.

Hey, that's MY story and my keyboard! In a previous life I edited very long reports for boss #2 - 200 - 300 page jobbies. It was sometimes a case of I'll look at it again - tomorrow! Wish I had the monitor then that I have now! This one rotates from landscape to portrait & knows when you're turning it! It's a 22" biggie!

Edited to say: I hope the edit feature comes along over to the new & improved Board!

no delete privileges.

i just saw a show on television that was about the body of a woman who had cosmetic surgery after her body was found. After??? Hmmmmm. not a typo in spelling but a big error!!

I used to spell beautifully and was extremely accurate in all my writings. I was proud of me.

Then I went onto AOL which has a built in spell check...and rapidly discovered that I wasn't as smart as I thought I was.

DARNIT!!! BLAST!! FIDDLESTICKS!!! CUSS WORDS!!
