The last pair of pants my husband wanted shortened sat so long that there is a sun faded line where they were folded. Yep, I want to sew what I want to sew. :-)

I finally found the original poster of the tagline....I'm so sorry SewingSuz that I mess up your quote. Then I couldn't remember who's tagline it was! My memory is so fuzzy these days, but I finally saw a post you made and knew that I had to straighten it out that I wasn't the one who said this. Anyway, if you don't mind, I'll ask you to put the right quote here. I've already messed it up once.

I think that I have you all beaten...
When my son was about 8, I bought some beautiful corduroy to make him a pair of pants. He is now 52...no pants but I did recently use the fabric to make a spare tire cover for my car.

Also, I have 3 quilts in various stages (none near done) that I started 26 years ago to give to my granddaughters when they were two...never completed and I have recently completed other quilts for their kids. Just couldn't get that other stuff done when I was working and have lost interest but MAYBE I'll finish the quilts for their kids second birthdays. Anyone want to bet on that?
