My prayers go out to you. I saw some video of the flood on the news this morning. It is heartbreaking. Stay safe.

it has been reported on our news as a leading item - it looks horrendous - my daughter and family by marriage living in Brisbane but they have escaped the worst - but I have sent a few prayers up for those that are not so fortunate and for the lives known and unknown to have been lost

That is such a tragedy. I pray for all the residents. Hope the rain quits soon and the water goes down. However, I can see that many homes, etc have been lost. I would guess that some lives may have be lost too.

As I was reading this a large army helicopter has just flown over on its way to the south it would be from Townsville so more help is on the way, I live over 41/2 hours from the trouble, not much help as I am a bit flooded in but I now live on the side of a hill, 40days and 40 nights may get me.
